Licence Plate Security Cameras

They allow the camera to capture license plates of vehicles with their lights on during the night. They block out the vehicles headlights and allow for a crisp picture of the license plate while traditional camera just give you a washed out and bright picture. In order for a license plate camera to work properly you must have a lens that is zoomed in enough to properly identify the plate. For instance if you want to capture license plates of cars coming in through the front gate you cannot capture a wide surrounding area of the vehicle. In most cases you can only see the plate and a fraction of the vehicle entering. In these situations a second security camera is needed if you wish to capture the plate and the full vehicle description.
